About the Role 

This role will provide support including administrative assistance for CARE’s Workplace Giving Program, updating and maintaining accurate records on CARE’s CRM system including receipting, prospect research, assisting with event coordination and providing general donor support & stewardship functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer CARE Australia’s Workplace Giving program including stewardship and reporting to organisation participants
  • Maintain accurate donor records on CRM including task & stewardship activities for Head of Philanthropy & Corporate Partnerships and Senior Manager Key Relationships
  • Assist with organisation of donor stewardship events (both in-person & online), acknowledgements, thank yous and annual report recognition
  • Donor research
  • Assist with creating donor reports & proposals
  • Under guidance of Senior Manager Key Relationships, prepare and submit Trust & Foundation grant applications
  • Assist Philanthropy & Corporate Partnerships team to conduct due diligence screening for corporate partnerships as it relates to funding proposals and approaches
  • Provide general administrative support to Head of Philanthropy & Corporate Partnerships and Senior Manager Key Relationships, including arranging and coordinating donor meetings, creating and maintaining spreadsheets and database
  • supporting project communication and undertaking general project administrative functions
  • Assist Supporter Care team in responding to donor queries as needed in peak times
  • Perform other duties directed by Senior Manager Key Relationships     

Ideally you will have: 

  • Experience working on a workplace giving donation program or in a community fundraising role
  • A motivated self starter including the ability to work independently to complete tasks as a member of a cross-functional team
  • Demonstrated high level of communication and interpersonal skills including written and verbal and the ability to create and foster collaborative and productive relationships with colleagues, donors and external organisations
  • Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills including the ability to manage workflows and balance competing priorities to ensure timely processing to meet deadlines
  • Experience with Google Suite and Salesforce is desirable
